Pet Insurance

We welcome all insured clients and have established relationships with all of the major insurance providers. We are also happy to submit claims for all other pet insurance companies. Our status as a mobile clinic does not affect our ability to process insurance claims, and we have never encountered issues with clients' claims.

We strongly recommend that all pet owners have their pets covered by insurance to help manage unexpected medical costs. Pet insurance provides peace of mind in the event of unforeseen veterinary expenses, especially in emergencies or for ongoing treatment.

While we cannot specifically recommend one insurance company over another, we can advise on the type of cover that is most beneficial for your pet*.

We strongly suggest opting for lifetime cover. This type of policy offers the most comprehensive protection for long-term health issues, as it ensures coverage for ongoing conditions year after year.

Choose the highest annual cover that fits within your budget; we would suggest a minimum of £4-5k per condition. Higher coverage will help reduce out-of-pocket costs in case of serious illness or injury.

We have found that insurance cover that only partially covers medical bills are less helpful to the client and tend to restrict clients from being able to make the choices they would like for their pet.

Read the fine print of any policy carefully. As with any insurance, you often get what you pay for, so ensure you understand the policy’s exclusions, limits, and coverage details before committing.

By having the right insurance, you can ensure that your pet’s health is fully supported, without financial worries in times of need.

It is strongly recommended that you avoid switching insurance providers throughout your pet's life, as pre-exisiting conditions will not be covered. Please see our youtube channel and social media platforms for more tips on insurance.

If your pet has recently had treatment with us and you require us to complete an insurance claim for you, please follow the link below. There is an administration fee of £25 per condition (if claim is under £600); not all insurance companies will cover this fee. Please allow 4 weeks for your claim to be processed by us

In some instances we may be able to offer direct claims. â€‹â€‹
