FAQs: Our Booking Process
Why can’t I book a specific time for my appointment? We schedule appointments based on client locations to optimise time and fuel efficiency. This helps us serve everyone more effectively while keeping our fuel costs and environmental impact low.
How do you plan your day? Once all appointments are confirmed (24 hours in advance), we organise the most efficient route by considering all client locations. For all standard home consultation bookings, we confirm our expected time of arrival for your chosen day, 24 hours in advance. The time allocated will be between 07:30 - 18:00. If the allocated time is not suitable for the client, we will transfer the appointment to the next mutually suitable day. The only exceptions are priority bookings, euthanasia appointments and appointments that require sedation, where an ETA is allocated at the time of booking, for the purpose of increasing client comfort.
Can I book a more specific time slot? Yes. We offer priority consultations, where you can select a 2-hour time window. The day before your appointment, we’ll confirm a more specific arrival time within that window.
My pet needs a top-up of their medication. Can you bring this along to the appointment? Yes. If you'd like us to bring medication to your appointment, please request it in advance by adding a note when booking your appointment.
How do I pay for my pet’s consultation and treatment? Payment is made at the time of consult either by debit/credit card or by bank transfer.
What if I need to cancel my appointment? If you a registered with our new booking system (Lupa web browser or Lupa App), you can message us directly through your account. If you are not already signed up, please send us an email to cancel your appointment: hello@theealingvet.co.uk Please note that we require 48 hours notice for cancellations. All deposits are non-refundable.
